To all those parents who attended our IB Grading Night. We hoped you enjoyed exploring Dank Haus and learning about IB assessment. Please do not hesitate to direct any questions to Mrs. Prinzivalli or Ms. Denten.
Civilized students…
Our eighth graders showed off their communication skills with a Socratic Seminar on Lord of the Flies. They engaged in peer-led conversation and challenged each other with thought-provoking questions.
The students have been practicing the fundamentals and have just learned the rules to football. Now they are beginning to apply everything we've practiced and learned thus far into flag football. It was great to witness offensive plays/strategies and the tremendous amount of teamwork these kids used in game play.
This week the sixth graders advertised garments for the Pharaoh in I&S.
In Science class, the 8th graders engineered structures to prevent erosion along a beach.
We are excited to kick off our first Student Council fundraiser! We will be selling Tootsie Pop ghosts for 50 cents each. Students may purchase as many as they would like for their friends and themselves. The ghosts will be delivered on October 30th. They may place their order with their advisor.
