Graduates received their diplomas from Ms. Kanaley, Fr. Tom, and Mrs. Klich. We are so proud of all of their hard work! On Thursday the current 5th, 6th, and 7th graders went to Feed My Starving Children to pack food for communities in need. The future JH was able to pack more than 300 boxes! We loved seeing all of the team work! After we volunteered at Feed My Starving Children, we participated in some team games! We had a water balloon toss, cotton ball relay race, a three-legged race, and more! The weather was beautiful and everyone had a blast getting to know next year's 6th grade class! On the last day of school, we announced the winner of the Mustang Cup! Students earned points for their behavior, participation, and team games throughout the course of the entire year. After counting all of the points, the winner is... TEAM TURKEY LEG! Congratulations to all our students for their involvement, it was a great year!

The JH hosted our annual Global Fest IB Gallery this week where we showcased student work in all subject areas. 6th graders taught moves they learned from Dancing with Class as well as conducted a debate about what makes a good leader. 7th graders applied their knowledge of genetics and gathered more data for their mathematical survey. 8th graders showcased their 'To Kill A Mockingbird' infographic as well as their Opera stories. This and many more! Thank you to all who attended! Sixth graders showed off their creative projects this week in L&L. Sixth graders did an awesome job of creating games that used motifs from The Giver like color, control, status quo, breaking the norm and more! On Wednesday, the eighth graders went on their final field trip as a class to Great America! An amazing time was had by all and the rain even held off until we stepped on the bus to come home. The day ended with the most fabulous dinner hosted by Adan Moreno's family at their restaurant, Más Allá del Sol. We had a great day making memories together, conquering fears, and enjoying the outdoors. Thank you again to the Moreno Family for hosting such a memorable evening for us. Congratulations, Class of 2018! Check back on monday for a special edition post with 8th grade graduation photos!Looking ahead...
